Arà
Arà. In ancient greek the word indicates both prayer and curse.
In the Sicilian language, and in particular in the South-East of the island, it means "hurry up!", but in colloquial use it is can also be an exclamation used to express anger, joy, playfulness or indignation.
"Arà is our Eloro D.O.C. (Controlled Origin of Appellation), Nero d'Avola, refined in barrique of the Modica Estate.
Within it the sun and the flavours of the earth are trapped, and as we like to believe, it may have even captured some of the musicality and poetry of this civil and hard-working angle of Sicily
